It can be replaced with micro grids, hydrogen, load management (blackouts), thousands of miles of new transmission, and the batteries in everyone’s electric car. No wonder the Germans want to back away from the EU ban on gasoline and diesel cars. They can’t support the load they now have, never mind doubling the generation requirement for millions of EVs
They should have NEVER shut down their nuclear plants. Stupid
